Project Stages
Vartovii automatically detects what stage a crypto project is in:

|---|---|---|
| Live Token | Fully launched with tradeable token | Solana, Arbitrum, Optimism |
| Tokenless | Active product but no token | Base, zkSync Era |
| Pre-Launch | In testnet or private beta | Monad, MegaETH, Berachain |

What We DON'T Use
For early-stage projects, traditional metrics aren't available:
- ❌ Price and market cap
- ❌ Trading volume
- ❌ Token unlocks schedule
- ❌ TVL (if no product yet)
Data Sources
All our data comes from publicly available sources:
| Data | Source |
|---|---|
| Funding rounds | DefiLlama Raises API |
| Team info | GitHub Contributors API |
| Project details | CoinGecko, DefiLlama |

FAQ
Why do pre-launch projects have different scoring?
Because they lack trading data, we focus on fundamentals that indicate future success: team quality, funding quality, and development progress.
Can I still trust the score for pre-launch projects?
Yes, but understand the limitations. Pre-launch scores indicate potential, not proven track record.
How do I know what stage a project is in?
Vartovii automatically detects and displays the stage with a badge on each project page.
